Web Disk Access

To take advantage of the Web Disk access, first the user needs to create a Web Disk login account. To do so, all the user needs to do is enter a username and password. Then, the user needs to choose a domain that he or she wants to use for the Web Disk account. Once these steps are done, the user can click on the Create button to create his Web Disk account. A notice that informs the user that his Web Disk account has been created will show.

After clicking on the Go Back link, a page will load and the user will see a table that contains the following information:

  • Login – contains the account username
  • Directory – contains the directory path associated with the Web Disk account
  • Access Web Disk – to start using the Web Disk, click on the button
  • Actions – a menu that contains the following options:
    • Change password - to change the password of the Web Disk Account
    • Delete – used to delete the Web Disk account from the system

Once the Web Disk account is created, the user can proceed to use it. To do so, the user needs to select the operating system he is using to view the Web Disk once the page loads. After clicking the Go button, he needs to follow the on-screen instructions according to the operating system selected previously.

Like most programs, users can change the username and password of their Web Disk account. They can also tweak some settings to better suit their needs. The existence of the Web Disk account eliminates the need for FTP or other publishing programs while allowing users to have easier control of their website administration.
